If you want to promote Michael Matthews’ The Work at Home Millionaire

This month I was really puzzled by what happened after Michael Matthews launched his program “The Work at Home Millionaire”:
a wave of ALIENS advertisers came to my websites.

Aliens? Well, what can I say? They were not newbies and they were not experienced people.

They were simply from … another planet.

I am online since many years and I met many newbies. But I never ever seen so many people that don’t have any clue on what they are doing, don’t have any clue on what you’re writing to them, generally speaking they don’t have any clue on anything.

I don’t want to hurt anyone, but … I had enough.

Some of the advertisers copied from the members area the same poor ads full of grammar mistakes. They didn’t read anything. They just copied and pasted the ad and paid for the advertising space.

Others … purchased solo ads but submitted the same so called ad that didn’t have any subject line and the body of the ad comprises one single line: the reseller link.

Others … purchased solo ads but submitted an advert that has 2 or 3 subject lines. As if the emails can have more than one subject line.

Others … didn’t submit any ad but paid me to … publish it.

Seeing how helpless are the advertisers that came from Michael Matthews’ program, I did something I never done before: based on the mistakes made by those people I setup a page containing instructions for the people who want to promote this program.

Do you think that there was someone reading the instructions? No way, again and again the same so called ads.

The biggest mistery is a lady from UK who purchased two days ago a solo ad, but the ad she submitted contains 3 lines and no link.

Of course I sent her a message and explained her that an ad without link (or at least a phone number or an email address for contact) is not an advert, is just a wasted space, time and money.

What do you think it was her answer?

No answer, but yesterday she placed another order. Again a few lines and … no link.

    I contacted her again.

    What was the answer?

No answer, but … a third order was placed today. Of course without any link.

I contacted her again, but this time I wrote a … nervous message.

Well, she finally replied, “I need help”.

Yeah, right, I didn’t notice yet, thanks for letting me know!

Now, if you want to promote yourself this program, please save your money and read these instructions:

    1. Do NOT submit ads that contain only one link and NO TEXT. If your ad doesn’t contain any text, then no one will click on your link and you will throw away your money.

    2. Do NOT submit ads that contain only TEXT and NO LINK. If the reader likes your ad, what is she or he supposed to do if you don’t add a link to your reseller website?

    3. A solo ad has only ONE SUBJECT LINE. Do NOT copy all the subject lines you find in the members area of Work At Home Millionaire. Choose only one subject line.

    4. Do NOT start your subject line with “SUBJECT …”.

    5. Do NOT use in your ads the following words & expressions that are penalized by spam filters:

    ACT NOW
    work at home
    rip off
    million dollar
    get rich quick
    weight loss

You will find these words in the content of the ads recommended in the members area. Do NOT use these words because your ad will be blocked by spam filters. Remove those words from your ad.

    6. Do NOT use bullets in your ads. Some email software don’t know to read the bullets and will replace them by weird signs. Instead of bullets, use STARS. You can find this sign on your keyboard.

    7. Do NOT mispell the word freedom. Fre[e]dom does NOT have any meaning.

    8. Do NOT copy & paste the ads like a robot. Read the ads and correct the mistakes. Some ads from the members area contain GRAMMAR ERRORS.

    9. Your reseller link contains an expression that is penalized by spam filters: “work at home”. You need to hide your link. Please pay attention: I didn’t say that you need to alter the link. I said that you need to hide it. You can hide it FREE here: http://tinyurl.com. You will get a new link. When the reader clicks on this new link, she or he will be redirected to your original reseller link. The sole change is that the spam filters will no longer “see” the words that are penalized.

    10. After you place your order, don’t run away and never come back in front of your computer. The ezine publishers may contact you and wait for an answer. READ your correspondence.

    1. Reading this post was like a breath of fresh air. I feel that some would just take the money and run with no correspondence. Kudos to this ezine publisher that cares enough to help.

Do you Know how I can find the sign in page for current members of this program?

    3. admin says:

This is exactly what I was saying in my post!

No, I don’t know where is the login page for members. I am not a member of this program. But you are a member of this program and you don’t know where you can find the login page for this program that you PAID to join?

God, people, where this Michael Matthews found you? There is no offence, but it’s like he is asking you,

Michael Matthews: “Hey, do you know anything about Internet?”

      “Yes”

      Michael Matthews: “Go away!”

      Another potential reseller comes ….

Michael Matthews: “Hey, do you know anything about Internet?”

“Absolutely nothing about Internet or anything else”.

Michael Matthews: “Great, come in! You’re my man!”

    4. JON B says:

After purchasing the Michael Matthews program my connection failed and I found that there was no Member login that could be reached from the sites main page and that no info had been saved to my history. I posted on this blog out of desperation because it seemed that you were a person that was informed.

After searching for about another hour, on this so called “internet” that you speak of, I did finally find it. I wasn’t offended by what you said at all, I was a little disappointed however because I asked a simple question that could have been given a simple answer “I don’t Know”. In the end its just a difficult sight to navigate. Have you looked at it, its actually really bad.
If anyone has had the same problem as myself the sign in is at

      Anyways, thanks for you time.

      JON B

    5. admin says:

Jon, when you purchase ANYTHING from a certain person and you need ANY type of help regarding that purchase, then you’re supposed to contact that person.

If that person doesn’t answer to your email, then maybe you purchased your “something” from a scammer and you need to ask your money back via the payment processor or your bank. If that person answers to your email, you solved the problem!

Wasting your time by visiting different third party websites and asking about your specific problem doesn’t make any sense.

    6. saylor h says:

I am considering the purchase of Michael Matthew’s “work at home millionair” I googled it because most times if it’s a scam it comes up here “on google” that is, I came across this page and pleased to see there is SOMEONE out there who really cares about the “little” guy I think with your helpful hints I may just be able to make this work …. have you heard any neg reports on the program? Props to you admin !!!!!

    7. admin says:

No, I didn’t hear any negative reports except for some people who have cancelled their memberships for I don’t know what reasons. But this happens to all the programs of this type – if some people don’t like it, it is not a proof that it is a scam.

What I can tell you for sure is that the ads from the members area are full of mistakes. They contain grammar mistakes and words & expressions that are penalized by spam filters. Which shows very clear that this Michael Matthews or whoever is behind this program … is not very experienced when it comes to email/ezines marketing. And this is a big question mark. You cannot teach people to do something you don’t know …

    8. Karen K says:

Once again I am reminded to research any “idea” out there. I was very happy to see your information. I was more trusting about their product because it was a google add that said 100% scam free. So yes, I considered it… but then there is that scammy line ” “50% off only until midnite”. So adds are adds… and we need to use our common sense!
      Thanks for the info..

    9. Drew says:

Can I have an insight on how this works. Are members selling the “The entire program” or the websites that are linked to this program, i,e, “weight loss’ or is it both.

    10. admin says:

Drew, your comment is another proof for what I posted here. You paid Michael Matthews, you don’t have any clue on what you’re supposed to do and you’re coming here to get a free advise.

It’s like you buy a car from a dealer and then when you don’t know how the car works you’re going to a bookshop and ask the people there how your car works. How is this? Why don’t you ask your question to the dealer you paid? Isn’t this the normal way?

Anyway, here is the answer to your question: people are copying and pasting like robots pre-written ads from the members area. No matter how many grammar mistakes the ads contain, no matter how many other type of mistakes the ads contain, they just copy the ads WITHOUT THINKING and buy advertising space in ezines. Each of these ads promotes one of the programs you can find in the members area: “True Weight Loss Tips”, “The Work at Home Millionaire”, etc.

    11. Drew says:

Thanks for the reponse, The reason why I was not sure is that I did not buy mine from “Michaels” website but someone who “test “these online programs and give you the pros and cons but has a link to buy it. I guess that is a good way to have advertise..

    12. admin says:

      He, he, he :-)

Take care, there are information that are NOT available BEFORE paying the membership fee (That’s not fair at all!)

Example: after you refer a customer to them, you will be paid one month after the actual sale and the payment modality … guess what … it comes from the Dark Age: CHEQUE!

    13. Lynn Tucker says:

      Good Morning,

I appreciate the site, your comments and the responses. What I have learned here is, you can’t trust anybody or can you? The Internet Marketers, I’ll call them, feed on our frustration with our lives and our desperation to find a better way or any way to make a better life for ourselves and our families. It’s sad and disturbing to be at the mercy of people who are no better than con artists. And who holds these people accountable? Man. What a world we’ve created. Is there an answer for those of us looking for a better way? I really want to know.

    14. admin says:

      Hi Lynn,

What any newbie has to learn is that the Internet is not different than the offline world:

      1) There are good people and bad people and that’s why you have to take care.

      2) You cannot succeed by doing nothing. Many so called “money making programs” promise you to do nothing or almost nothing (copy and paste some ads) and get a lot of money in exchange. This is NOT possible.

You can get rich by doing nothing only in one case: when one of your rich relatives dies and you’re her/his heir.

Make money while sleeping is possible only AFTER you worked hard before going to bed!

Unfortunately there are tons of people who believe that the Internet is from a fairy tale and you can get tons of money by paying a fee when joining a money making program and then copying and pasting some ads.

Work hard and you will succeed. Do nothing and you’ll get what you did: nothing. Unfortunately the biggest part of the people don’t want and like to work. They just want the money. This is NOT possible, online or offline.

    15. Lynn Tucker says:

Thank you for the reply. I have no problem working hard. I have for the last 32 years worked in healthcare. If I had worked smart, I would be much more content with my life. I think. So, I agree in part with what you say. Work hard yes but work smart too. I sold my time to whatever hospital, healthcare facility, or clinic for whatever they offered at the time and worked whatever hours they required-weekends, holidays, nights, days, and evenings and left home for long periods of time to make more money on travel assignments. I do not want to do this anymore. I have made a living and that’s it. No retirement. No savings. I want something better. I am 52 and school is an option but I am not sure school is the answer. So here I am looking for a way to stay at home and work and generate an income that meets my requirements for a change. My goal was to make $100,000 annually and I have not met that goal. I got close with travel but I do not care for being away from home for 3-6 months at a time. I believe excellence is a state of mind. I try to do my best at whatever I do-work, cleaning house, mowing the yard, etc. Any job worth doing is worth doing well.

    16. admin says:

      Lynn,

      1) I fully agree with your saying “Work hard yes but work smart too”. That’s indeed the key to success.

      2) Working for someone else, offline or online, is not something I recommend you. Promoting today someone else’s business, other person’s business tomorrow is not for people who want to really succeed and build a steady income. You need to educate yourself (not talking about school here) in terms of online business and then start your own online business.

    17. Mike says:

Amazingly enough, the 50% discount until midnight is STILL in effect now several months (lots of midnights) later!!! I think the only millionaire that gets to stay at home is Michael.

    18. admin says:

      You’re right, Mike.

Any “money making program” works like this: it brings a lot of money to the owner, enough money for some people who “wake up” early and start to promote the program from the very beginning and a few money for many others. The rest of the people (the biggest part) only LOSE their money and pay the others.

That “discount until midnight” is one of the dirty tricks some marketers use.
