Are you making the same mistake?
Trying to save some time for the holidays that are just around the corner, I’ve prepared today in advance some issues of Ezine Advertising Info Newsletter and Ad Co-ops News.
Part of this process was the testing of the ads that are scheduled to be published in the next issues.
I had to modify a lot of words because otherwise the issues were in danger of being blocked by spam filters.
I had to spend a lot of time checking whether the domain names from the links are on a blocklist or not.
You would be surprised to find out how many of the affiliate links you use in your ads or even your own domain names are blacklisted.
Many advertisers don’t have a clue on how much money they lose by using spammer like ads containing lots of exlamations signs, full lines written using only capitals, blacklisted domain names and so on.
It’s not very difficult to learn how to avoid your ads being blocked by spam filters …
But very few advertisers are willing to learn this important part of today’s ezine marketing.
Are you making the same mistake?
Today I will let you know some of the programs that are very much advertised by today’s marketers (they are taken from YOUR ads) while their domain names are blacklisted and consequently creating you big losses if you don’t hide your affiliate link.

If you want to improve the deliverability of your ads there is one single way … learn how to avoid spam filters. Don’t assume that others will do it for you … 90% of the ezine publishers don’t know or wrongly believe they know how to avoid the spam filters. I am not willing to start a war here so I’ll stop … but you would better learn to do it alone.

Suggesting your subscribers whitelist your publication will avoid most spam filters altogether. The trick is giving the instructions for the ISP or email provider in question.
I built a comprehensive and free email instruction generator; that will create user whitelist instructions for all the ISPs and most of the popular client side spam filters.
That’s correct, Chris.
Suggesting to the subscribers to whitelist the publication is one little step on the way to avoid the messages being blocked by the spam filters.
However, there are many other steps that altogether can guarantee a significant improvement of an email deliverability.
Suggesting the whitelisting of the publisher’s email address is a MUST that I recommended too in my brand new special report How to Avoid Spam Filters
By the way, Chris, the post you commented on was in fact a tip for the ADVERTISERS, not for publishers. Many advertisers use blacklisted domain names and purchase advertising space in ezines published by publishers who don’t have a clue on how spam filters work … There are a lot of such publishers…
That’s why I recommend to all advertisers to learn themself how to protect their investment in ezine advertising instead of waiting for others (the publishers) to protect them.
