Ezine Advertising

I read the ads most of you use for promoting different so called business opportunities and I noticed that you’re missing some real opportunities while wasting your money.

Read further and see if you’re one of the many people who miss the real opps.

1) You sign up for a certain program because someone told you that even if you’re newbie you will earn a lot of money.

2) When you sign up you MUST PAY a fee.

3) Then you have access to a members area where you find some pre-written ads and you’re told to purchase ads in ezines and promote your affiliate or reseller link.

You’re NOT selling any product, you’re not selling any service. You’re trying to determine another person to signup like you did, pay the fee and start promoting that program.

You’re not selling in fact anything of value. NO ONE learns or gets anything from what you promote.

NO VALUE AT ALL. Just pay the fee and promote that program, the next one pays the fee and promotes the program, and so on.

Just money that goes from one hand to another… and the biggest part of the money … guess what … goes to the owner of that program.

That’s not business, my friends.

Now look at this REAL opportunity and notice the difference:

1) You sign up only one time and do NOT pay any fee (Take care: you must sign up as an affiliate and you will not pay any fee. If you sign up as a vendor then you’re required to pay a fee.)

2) Then you can promote THOUSANDS of products from tons of different vendors.

Well, how is this? You can earn money without paying for the right to sell and … you sell valuable products that people will get real benefits when they will buy.

Signup free, visit their Marketplaces, choose a product, get the affiliate link and start promoting that product WITHOUT PAYING for the right to promote it.

Open your eyes and stop promoting so called opportunities.

As Walter P. Chrysler said,

I am simply disappointed!

When it comes to BestNews Marketing Gazette, I am disappointed two times by 2 different things that happened.

Because of a severe illness, the publisher of BestNews Marketing Gazette - my good friend Cor Hartenberg - was forced to stop publishing his ezine.

I am disappointed because despite the fact that he is a great person and an excellent professional, he has to suffer now and many people who know him and love him suffer too …

Why him? Why?

My second disappointment related in a way to his ezine but not related to Cor is caused by the fact that …

Despite the fact that Cor published the last issue of his ezine on May 31 (if you want, you can read it here) there are some serious ezine ad co-ops that still sell advertising space in BestNews Marketing Gazette - a newsletter that unfortunately belongs to the past and where the ads
will not be published because of the reason I already explained.

Well, in fact there are more ezine ad co-ops that promise you to publish your ad in BestNews Marketing Gazette, but some of them I cannot take into consideration. Half of the ezines they promise to publish your classified ad in … are no longer published since months or even years ago. I am not talking about the scammers I already warned you.

I am talking about serious ezine ad co-ops and that’s why I am really disappointed.

Maybe their owners have some serious reasons for not updating their co-ops and selling what they will never be able to provide …

I am not going to name the co-ops here. It’s your turn to take care and open your eyes before deciding to buy ezine ads.

Anyway, take care and when you will purchase classified ads again, be sure not to choose a group that includes BestNews Marketing Gazette.

This month I was really puzzled by what happened after Michael Matthews launched his program “The Work at Home Millionaire”:
a wave of ALIENS advertisers came to my websites.

Aliens? Well, what can I say? They were not newbies and they were not experienced people.

They were simply from … another planet.

I am online since many years and I met many newbies. But I never ever seen so many people that don’t have any clue on what they are doing, don’t have any clue on what you’re writing to them, generally speaking they don’t have any clue on anything.

I don’t want to hurt anyone, but … I had enough.

Some of the advertisers copied from the members area the same poor ads full of grammar mistakes. They didn’t read anything. They just copied and pasted the ad and paid for the advertising space.

Others … purchased solo ads but submitted the same so called ad that didn’t have any subject line and the body of the ad comprises one single line: the reseller link.

Others … purchased solo ads but submitted an advert that has 2 or 3 subject lines. As if the emails can have more than one subject line.

Others … didn’t submit any ad but paid me to … publish it.

Seeing how helpless are the advertisers that came from Michael Matthews’ program, I did something I never done before: based on the mistakes made by those people I setup a page containing instructions for the people who want to promote this program.

Do you think that there was someone reading the instructions? No way, again and again the same so called ads.

The biggest mistery is a lady from UK who purchased two days ago a solo ad, but the ad she submitted contains 3 lines and no link.

Of course I sent her a message and explained her that an ad without link (or at least a phone number or an email address for contact) is not an advert, is just a wasted space, time and money.

What do you think it was her answer?

No answer, but yesterday she placed another order. Again a few lines and … no link.

I contacted her again.

What was the answer?

No answer, but … a third order was placed today. Of course without any link.

I contacted her again, but this time I wrote a … nervous message.

Well, she finally replied, “I need help”.

Yeah, right, I didn’t notice yet, thanks for letting me know!

Now, if you want to promote yourself this program, please save your money and read these instructions:

1. Do NOT submit ads that contain only one link and NO TEXT. If your ad doesn’t contain any text, then no one will click on your link and you will throw away your money.

2. Do NOT submit ads that contain only TEXT and NO LINK. If the reader likes your ad, what is she or he supposed to do if you don’t add a link to your reseller website?

3. A solo ad has only ONE SUBJECT LINE. Do NOT copy all the subject lines you find in the members area of Work At Home Millionaire. Choose only one subject line.

4. Do NOT start your subject line with “SUBJECT …”.

5. Do NOT use in your ads the following words & expressions that are penalized by spam filters:

ACT NOW
work at home
rip off
million dollar
get rich quick
weight loss

You will find these words in the content of the ads recommended in the members area. Do NOT use these words because your ad will be blocked by spam filters. Remove those words from your ad.

6. Do NOT use bullets in your ads. Some email software don’t know to read the bullets and will replace them by weird signs. Instead of bullets, use STARS. You can find this sign on your keyboard.

7. Do NOT mispell the word freedom. Fre[e]dom does NOT have any meaning.

8. Do NOT copy & paste the ads like a robot. Read the ads and correct the mistakes. Some ads from the members area contain GRAMMAR ERRORS.

9. Your reseller link contains an expression that is penalized by spam filters: “work at home”. You need to hide your link. Please pay attention: I didn’t say that you need to alter the link. I said that you need to hide it. You can hide it FREE here: http://tinyurl.com. You will get a new link. When the reader clicks on this new link, she or he will be redirected to your original reseller link. The sole change is that the spam filters will no longer “see” the words that are penalized.

10. After you place your order, don’t run away and never come back in front of your computer. The ezine publishers may contact you and wait for an answer. READ your correspondence.
